Create Work Life balance

Have you recently experienced a feeling of wanting to spend more time with yourself and/or with your family? Maybe you feel like connecting with yourself at a deeper level and serving a different purpose.
An increasing realization is dawning upon us as we strive for happiness in whatever we do. It is possible today to succeed in any profession. If your current job/ employer is not allowing you to create a health work-life fit its probably time to quit.

But before taking that step, lets figure out how we can actually create work-life fit. Work-life fit is all about planning and arranging for day-to-day activities in a manner by which you can commit a bare-minimum fixed amount of time for yourself – EVERYDAY. You can do that, even if you think you have crazy travel hours. What is most important that while you recognize the need for it, not doing anything about it can get really frustrating?

Here is a simple technique that can help you create work-life balance in your life:

1. Decide on how much time you want to be able to commit to yourself on a daily basis (1 hour/ 2 hours/ 4 hours)
2. List down your daily tasks (including travel time and time for grocery shopping, etc.)
3. Note down the time taken for each task
4. Now arrange your tasks in a manner that you are able to squeeze out time for yourself
5. This is the step where you decide to check for any redundant activities that may have been wasting your time and remove them from the list
6. Reorganize your list to manage time for yourself
7. Feed this list as a note in your mobile phone as a constant reminder for you and make a genuine attempt to follow it on a daily basis

Very soon, you will realize that slowly and steadily, you have been able to achieve that work-life balance for yourself.

You could even hire a life coach to help you bring about that balance in your work life and ignite joy in your life.

Let me know how you fair on this or if you require additional information to implement this.
All the best!

Sometimes brilliance comes to you in very different forms. I wanted to share with you an idea that struck me recently and was so very important that it was almost life-changing. It is surprising how we ignore simple simple things in life that can make a world of difference to us. This brainwave, I had, was around the importance of our own time in our own lives.

Am I the only one who feels stuck in life?

Here is what you really need to do when you feel stuck in your life...

Why You will Fail to Live your Dream? (Killer Procrastination)

Too many people around you are compromising on their dreams. But the ones that you look up to, are the ones who are living their dream. To an extent, you maybe even jealous of them. But, hey, they aren't the ones who are stopping you from living your dream! Are they? In fact, no one is stopping you from truly going out there and striving for your dream. The only person getting in the way of your aspirations is YOU! Isn't it true? On this note, I would like to share the following video which is a TED talk by Larry Smith who is a professor of economics at the University of Waterloo in Canada. In this funny and in-your-face talk, Larry Smith pulls no punches when he calls out the absurd excuses people invent when they fail to pursue their passions. If you are truly ambitious about your dreams, and wouldn't want to be the one with regrets when you leave this planet for good, then this video is for you. In the above video, Larry Smith says '' No matter...
